Dr. Claire Novorol
Dr. Claire Novorol
Claire is a trained medical doctor. She worked as a pediatrician in London before specializing in clinical genetics. She earned a degree in both pathology and medicine from the University of Bristol, and a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Cambridge. Claire oversees medical quality and our medical teams. She gives a voice to patients and healthcare professionals to make sure our products meet their needs.
Prof. Dr. Martin Hirsch
Prof. Dr. Martin Hirsch
Martin has a PhD in neuroscience and a diploma in Physiology. A medical researcher turned entrepreneur, Martin shifted from theory to innovation after publishing his work on nerve modeling in the scientific journal Nature. His first venture was a nerve modeling program that saved thousands of animals from lab testing. He developed the first version of Ada for doctors and continues to shape the way Ada learns today. Martin is a grandson of the celebrated Nobel Laureate Werner Heisenberg.
SVP, Medical Product
Ewelina holds a medical degree from Berlin's Charité Universitätsmedizin and a doctorate in pediatric rheumatology, with expertise in medical and digital health domains. She leads Ada's medical product development, leveraging over a decade of experience in developing Ada's product including the core technology and the medical knowledge base.
VP of Medical Safety and Regulatory Affairs
Tauseef is a practising NHS doctor. He graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Masters in Medical Sciences, Ethics & Law. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Birmingham with distinction in medicine. Tauseef is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health and the Royal College of GPs. His areas of interest include untangling complexity, improving user outcomes alongside clinician experiences, and medical education.
Director of Medical Affairs
Adel is an NHS doctor. He graduated from St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Queen Mary University of London. Adel also holds postgraduate qualifications for the membership of the Royal College of Physicians, the Royal College of General Practitioners, and the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
Medical Product Group Lead
Kirsten received her medical degree from the University of Otago in New Zealand, and during this time, she carried out research projects in psychiatry. After graduating, she worked as a hospital doctor for several years, with a clinical interest in psychiatry and pediatrics. Before joining Ada, Kirsten worked at the Starship Children's Hospital in Auckland.
Product Manager for Content Tools
Alicia trained in the Control of Infectious Disease at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and is currently the Product Manager for the team that builds and maintains the internal tools used to create medical knowledge, ensure medical quality, and translate medical content. She is interested in combining the power of AI and epidemiological methods to achieve better health outcomes for everyone.
Expert Medical Safety Manager
Malek is a primary care physician and has worked as a family doctor at a community health centre where the majority of patients were refugees without prior access to care. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Istanbul University in Turkey. He believes access to healthcare is everyone’s right and is excited to join Ada in making that possible. Malek’s role as an expert medical safety manager revolves around maintaining user trust and ensuring that the Ada provides safe and effective healthcare support.
Senior Medical Product Lead
Nico received his medical degree from Charité, Berlin. He began working at Ada in 2015 during his studies, driven by his passion for solving healthcare inequality. Nico’s areas of clinical interest include neurology and emergency medicine. He is currently completing his doctoral thesis at Charité’s stroke unit.

Angela studied Medicine at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in Argentina where she specialized in psychiatry. After a few years of work at a hospital she started pursuing a PhD in Health Humanities. In 2017, after finishing her PhD, Angela joined Ada. Her main areas of interest are public health, bioethics, and mental health.
Expert Medical Knowledge Engineer
Merret received her medical degree from Charité, Berlin. She started working at Ada in 2014, gaining expert insight into digital health and shaping how we create medical knowledge. Merret is passionate about digital health and the potential to support systems around the world.
Senior Medical Product Lead
Nils received his medical degree from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn. As a student assistant, he delivered patient care in the ICU and general ward of Universitätsklinikum Bonn and completed his internship in Berlin that focused on internal medicine and urology. During his studies, Nils contributed towards creating a database for people with epilepsy due to limbic encephalitis. Utilizing Ada's technology, Nils is excited to help improve people's lives worldwide.
Senior Medical Data Analyst
Michal studied medicine in Lodz and Wroclaw before receiving his medical degree from the Wroclaw Medical University Faculty of Medicine. Michal’s main area of clinical interest is psychiatry, and he has clinical experience as a trainee and an assistant physician in Berlin clinics. At Ada, he expanded his skillset from being a medical doctor to include data analysis, combining his clinical expertise with data-driven insights to improve medical care.
Medical Product Lead
Victor received his medical degree from Charité, Berlin. He started at Ada as a working student during his studies in 2013. Victor also completed a 2-month internship at Kathmandu Model Hospital, Nepal. His areas of clinical interest include radiology and tropical medicine.
Clinical Studies Physician
Nisha received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and a Master of Public Health in epidemiology and biostatistics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She worked as a resident medical officer in India, and then as a researcher in academia and industry in the United States and Europe. Nisha is passionate about AI in healthcare and it's potential to help billions of people around the globe.
Medical Product Lead
João is a medical doctor and health economist from the University of Porto. Due to his passion for technology in healthcare, he pivoted into the digital health space. With experience in Porto, Warsaw, and London, he's engaged in health policy and scientific research, lecturing medical students on data and digital health. His overarching vision encompasses democratizing global healthcare access while leveraging the power of AI.
Medical Quality Specialist
Williams is a medical professional with a degree from Madonna University Nigeria, a master's in medical informatics from Germany, and training from the University of Washington, US. Having practiced clinical medicine in diverse settings, he recognized the potential of technology in improving healthcare access. Williams is dedicated to enhancing clinical processes and primary care through digital solutions, with a focus on software regulation and ethical use in medicine.

Sophia is a Canadian nurse with a BNSc from Queen's University, specializing in critical care. Building on her clinical and operational roles in rural, virtual, and military healthcare settings, Sophia completed her graduate studies in healthcare management and economics at UNICATT, Italy. Passionate about enhancing the patient experience, she utilizes her expertise at Ada to develop empathetic digital products, revolutionizing patient care at scale.
